Mr Jack Sanders
Hastings Boys' High School 1971
Jack attended Hastings Boys' High School in 1971 and obtained a Diploma in Horticulture from Massey University in 1974.
Jack enjoys watching most sports, with a particular passion for rugby and cricket. He is also an avid golfer. Over the past 50 years, Jack has been deeply involved in club rugby, primarily as a volunteer rugby administrator. He currently serves as the Patron of the Hastings Rugby and Sports Club.
Jack is the CEO of Sportslink, an organisation that assists sports clubs and non-profit organisations with sports administration, focusing primarily on funding applications and providing Xero accounting services.
His career began in horticulture, where he worked from 1975 to 1980. He then worked at Pacific Beef Plant from 1981 to 1990. From 1990 to 2008, Jack served as the club manager for Hastings High School Old Boys Rugby Club and later for Hastings Rugby and Sports Club. In 2008, he became the CEO of Sportslink Charitable Trust.
